Chris, Ram and I parked off old 86 at the entrance of Duke forest. Approximately half mile hike to the base of the highest hill in the division. Then a nice steep off trail hike to the top of the hill through the forest. Top of the hill has views of surround land and the hill is one of the highest points of land in Chapel Hill. It may be the highest point of Chapel Hill. Sunny, balmy breezes, tree leaves beginning to unfold and no bugs. Plenty of old oaks to set our hammocks up on.
